Today, within the region, their island is known as "Dushi Korsou" or locally translated is Sweet Curacao. Curacao is made up of 4 fundamental geological units: the Curacao Lava Formation, the Knip Group, the Middle area, and a Limestone Formation. At first glance, it may appear to be barren and desolate. But in reality, there are literally thousands of different species of animals and tons of native plant life that thrive there.
